GAMBLER  died after eating exotic plants that his new owner, Melissa, failed to move out of his reach.
Melissa aquired Gambler when he was 12 weeks old and two months after recieveing him she came home one evening to find he had shredded an exotic poison  plant and had even eaten some.  Melissa took him to the vet and the vet stated in his report that the puppy had eaten a poison plant.  Gambler was drooling and becoming more lathargic. He struggled hard to maintain life but was not able to win the battle.  Melissa refused to aknowledge the facts, not wanting to take the responsibility for Gambler's little life now gone.  Melissa insisted that he died of distemper.  She did not want to face the fact that he had been vaccinated for distemper and had two booster vaccinations.
